SlipVerdict does not decide what a sportsbook legally owes. It checks basic settlement arithmetic, organizes user-supplied evidence, and identifies provisions that need human review.
1. Ticket extraction
Optional OCR runs entirely inside the customer’s browser using locally hosted open-source software. The ticket image is not transmitted to SlipVerdict. The customer must review and correct every extracted field.
2. Result evidence
Customers can use our no-key public game lookup or manually enter a final statistic and HTTPS source. Public feeds are corroborating sources, not automatically the source designated by the sportsbook. SlipVerdict labels reports without a supplied source accordingly.
3. Arithmetic
For a standard over/under prop, SlipVerdict compares the final statistic with the ticket line. A value equal to the line is treated as a push for the preliminary calculation. Over and under results otherwise follow ordinary numeric comparison.
4. House-rule review
The application links to a public rule starting point for the selected sportsbook and calls out common exceptions: participation, postponement, voids, dead heats, palpable errors, official-source selection, stat-correction windows and market-specific terms. The jurisdiction-specific rules and exact ticket wording always control.
5. Verdict labels
- Consistent: the reported settlement matches the ordinary arithmetic.
- Possible mismatch: the ordinary arithmetic differs from the reported settlement.
- Review required: a void or another rule-dependent outcome cannot be resolved by arithmetic.
6. Evidence packet
The paid PDF contains the customer-reviewed ticket facts, the calculation, source links, a public rule reference, limitations and a neutral message the customer may choose to send. SlipVerdict does not contact the sportsbook or regulator.
